I’ve been meaning to pick up ‘American Kingpin’ for awhile, i’m fascinated about the origin story of the Darknet Marketplace especially in the wake of the recent seizures of AlphaBay and Hansa (R.I.P) and this expose of Ross Ulbritch founder of Silk Road promises to be a great read. I’m also really looking forward to getting into ‘1491’ – I was never a big fan of History in school, the way it was taught didn’t fill me with intrigue but through podcasts such as Hardcore History by Dan Carlin I’ve become far more curious and this book calls into question everything we know about Christopher Columbus and the discovery of the Americas.
Please find below a list of the books I’m reading October;
The Four Tendencies by Gretchen Rubin
1491: The Americas before Columbus by Charles C. Mann
On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century by Timothy Snyder
American Kingpin: Catching the Billion-Dollar Baron of the Dark Web by Nick Bilton
