Just for the Sake of It

Reading for me is quite a self serving pursuit. Nothing i read is remotely interesting to my friends nor an indication of my intellect. I love the feeling of solace you get from tapping out for an hour a day to read a book, there’s something quite meditative about it. But the constant pursuit of reading book after book always leads to me to contemplate a quote from Albert Einstein;

“The person who reads too much and uses his brain too little will fall into lazy habits of thinking..”

Hmmm…But I digress,  above is a picture of my April reading list, I promised myself I’d only read four a month. I did three a month last year and was super happy to  look back on all the amazing books I read in the year, and more importantly how much I got from them. But I love putting myself in slightly uncomfortable positions, and maybe stretching myself to five books a month, will not only do that, but also yield some interesting results. I guess you should watch this space!
